Custom Comissions

We don't have quite what you need on the shelf?

While our range of ready to go products is growing rapidly, we understand that there are often jobs that require a very specific item to fit the bill.

At Solaire Games we relish in the challenge of designing and building exactly what you need. We offer the following suite of services:

  • Concept design - Got a theme but need some ideas for puzzles? Let us come up with some options for you.

  • 3D design - We model new products in CAD before bringing them into reality.

  • 3D Printing - We use our Prusa i3Mk3 filament printer to print anything we need, in the colour and material you want.

  • Software design - We write software for smart physical puzzles, PC based puzzles and other functions needed for escape room operation.

  • Electronic design and fabrication - We use digital and analogue electronics, PCB fabrication and cable wiring to create our puzzles.

Prior Work

Custom Mirror

Our customer needed a Hollywood mirror customising for a promotional event; They wanted to be able to light up the bulbs in sequence to emulate the player's rising heart rate during a task.

We refitted a standard mirror with coloured bulbs and rewired it so they could be turned on in pairs and controlled remotely via a wireless system. Finally we added one of our key reveal trays which would automatically release when all bulbs were lit.

Our customer was very happy with the final product and it worked perfectly for their event.

Shipping Container Escape Room

Our customer needed a portable escape room experience with a space base theme. We fitted out a 20ft shipping container from scratch to form the space you see below, including:

  • Framing, insulating and lining the container

  • Addition of new puzzles produced by Solaire Games and also provided by a third party

  • Installation of dynamic lighting, audio system and remote monitoring

  • Construction of a motorised sliding door controlled by keypad

  • Internal and external styling

The portable room went to the Thames embankment and had a very successful couple of weeks with many players going through and thoroughly enjoying the game.
